Last night's MC raid, while a great success, left a bad tast in my mouth. In the end I was bashed by some of the guild officers on the raid for a boss pull that I still think was executed exactly as instructed. Thank you Tempt for your multiple attempts at defending me. That was the context, and I'm not here to cry about it, but rather express dissapointment at the leadership for this negativity. It was late after a long day of 2 raids and it was frustrating, but there was no gross negligence, no bravado, no not paying attention and no otherwise irresponsible or maclicous action - which are the only behaviours as I see it that should have the guild leaderes coming down on someone, and vladik is just as likely to be an ass at 2 in the afternoon anyway !lol
We don't need to sing kumbaya before every raid, but we do need to treat other members with respect and patience - and this is especially true for the leadership of the guild.

By the time we got to Garr we were missing people and everyone was bushed... it was nothing personal on anyone's part.. and tempers flair up as we get more and more tired. Leadership will continue to work toward endgame progress and keeping the blaming and drama to a minimum. We did well.. do not let the last pull marr your memory.

don't forget + 3rd raid of the day for some people and second raid for many others.
Emmett: I wasn't mad at you, even if it sounded like I was. I don't think I even knew you were pulling, anyway, is how out of it I was. I'm sorry if your feelings were hurt. I wasn't RL for this raid, but when I am I tend to take all the random unavoidable grumbling as personal criticism, so I see how ya feel, but a lot of times it isn't. You pulled because Tempt told you to, he told you to cause he thought we were ready &c&c, the kind of problem that happens when everyone's half asleep.
Seriously, I don't think in retrospect, that being ready was even the issue. The strats on teh intarweb don't stress enough how important it is to make sure that NOBODY is tanking all the adds even for a second. On similar pulls, like say the snake boss, if a couple adds also get on the MT..no biggie. On this one, if a couple adds get on the MT => 2 sec wtfpwn dirtnap for the MT. We'll have to figure out how to avoid that.
Taking off my strategist's hat, I also think everybody should always know who the RL is and expect important things like being given the go-ahead to pull the boss to come from them. Agreed, Tempt was RL, but Ozie had been talking for a while and even directing pulls, so I guess people were kinda expecting it to come from him. Kinda confusin.

Practice is practive Emmett, its good that you are trying to get this stuff down, as I wont be able to make all of the raids in the future. =D
